We will be on hand to guide you on how to make the most from your sauna experience & how to add water to the stones. It’s your time, so feel free to move in and out of the sauna as you please to cool down. 

We advise utilising the sauna for a maximum of 10-15min at a time.

If you wish to add on a sauna treatment, (we have lovely salt scrubs, face masks and aromatherapy scents), please ensure you select this during the booking stage.

Below are our FAQ’s, if you need any further information.

  • Please make sure you have showered recently before entering the sauna to maintain good sauna etiquette & hygiene. We do not have showers at the sauna, but we do have lots of cold water buckets.

    On entering the sauna, we ask that you sit on your towel to protect your skin & for hygiene.

  • Two important items!

    1. Bring plenty of water with you to maintain hydration throughout your sauna (no glass please).

    2. A small towel to sit on and a towel to dry off with afterwards.

    3. A dryrobe or similar is handy for getting changed afterwards

    4. Flip flops or sea shoes

  • We ask all our customers to wear a suitable bathing costume/swim wear in the sauna.

    Please remove jewellery & choose swim wear without metal clasps or buttons, as they will get hot and may cause skin burns.

  • If you are unable to attend your sauna session, we are able to offer a full refund or credit note with 72hrs or more notice.

    You can trigger a cancellation using the amend button on the confirmation email. Please send a short email to: oceansoulsauna@gmail.com to let us know so we can activate a refund to your bank.

  • You can reschedule your sauna session but we require 72hrs notice. Rescheduling, credit note or refunds will not be possible with less that 72hrs notice. All sauna sessions are transferable to friends or family, if you are unable to attend.

    Steps to Reschedule

    If you need to reschedule all customers can easily change their booking date and time using the "Amend" button located in the confirmation email. This button is green.

    Please remember that rescheduling will only be possible with 72 hours' advance notice.

  • Rescheduling for saunas booked in error will only be accommodated with at least 72 hours' advance notice. This is in line with our standard rescheduling policy. Unfortunately, no adjustments or rescheduling can be made after the scheduled date and time, as this creates a financial strain on our business. When a sauna seat has been missed, inputs, staffing & space allocation has already been made.

  • If you are unable to make your sauna session and require a refund, we can provide you with a full refund or credit note provided we have 96hrs/4 days notice. This is to provide us with sufficient time for your space to be rebooked.

    If notified within the 96hr/4day window, we regret that we will be unable to provide a refund. However, all sessions are transferable to another person.

    We regret that we are unable to reschedule one off courses or events.

  • We do our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee that we can move your sauna seat to another slot, even if its empty.

  • If you have a group larger than 8, we ask that you book multiple 55-minute sessions back to back, to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the sauna.

    Only 8 people will be allowed in the sauna at any time no matter on size of group.

    Group Booking Prices for those who wish to sauna 55mins only:-

    This information is outlined on the ‘info’ section of each booking slot.

    Groups up to 10 people = £100 sauna session (55mins)

    Groups up to 12 people = £150 sauna session (55mins)

    Groups of 13 - 20 people = £150 + £10.00 per person surcharge (55mins)

    Groups 20+ please contact us directly before making a booking for a quote.

    The additional charge helps us maintain the temperature in the sauna, which will require more wood due to frequent movements in & out of the sauna by larger groups in short sessions.

  • We have a very small changing space at the front of the sauna, which is partially private. This is available for private bookings only. We advise coming prepared with your swimsuit underneath or bringing a changing robe.

    No changing space for shared sauna - This area will not be available during shared sauna sessions due to obstructing other customers moving in and out of the sauna.

    As we are an off-grid set up, we are unable to offer lockers for personal items, so please leave expensive & breakable items at home or in your car, as we cannot take responsibility for any losses.

    We do have suitable space to store beach bags & rucksacks if needed.

  • If you have a saver pass, the booking system will use it as a default.

    If you would like to book friends or family into a slot, this will need to be carried out in a separate transaction. We apologise for the inconvenience but at this time the system can not accommodate this purchase option.

  • No food or drink to be taken into the sauna.

    You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks if you wish (no glass please) to consume outside. Salty snacks are a nice addition afterwards.

    Alcohol is strictly prohibited at the sauna and Ocean Soul Sauna reserves the right to refuse entry if we feel you are intoxicated or bear a risk to yourself or others health and safety.

  • Yes! You can book more than one sauna session at a time.

    1. Move through the booking pages until you reach the end confirmation page.

    2. At the top right of the confirmation page you will see a button + add another booking.

    3. Select this option & you will be taken back to select another sauna.

  • Yes we allow children in the sauna.

    Children under 16 are not allowed to use the sauna during shared, silent sessions or special events.

    Children aged 6-16 may use the sauna during private sessions only if accompanied by a parent or guardian on a one-to-one basis. The parent or guardian must fully accept responsibility for the child's safety and behaviour.

    Children must not be left alone at any time during the sauna session. If either party needs to cool down outside, both adult and child must remain together.

  • There are public toilets available at Crooklets Beach Carpark.

  • The sauna saver pass is for your personal use only and cannot be transferred to another person or used to purchase more than 1 session eg: For yourself and a friend.

    The cancellation and rescheduling of sauna pass sessions is possible, and follows our standard policy of requiring 72hrs notice of more. Any less than this window, we will be unable to offer a refund or reschedule.

    If you change your mind, you can request a refund for the entire pass provided and we provide a 14 day cool off period. Refunds will incur a £1.75 handling fee, which is a direct charge we incur from the merchant and for processing. We hope you understand.

    If the sauna saver pass credits have partially used, it is non-refundable.
